My family and friends have been a great inspiration over the years, thank you.
In brief; I've been drawing ever since I can remember and I am essentially self taught. I spent a lot of time as a kid drawing cars, animals, planes, people, and great architecture. One of my first field trips was with my dad to Hearst Castle in California. It was a pivotal point in my life. The overwhelming presence of its beauty has never left me. I remember drawing highly detailed renderings of the primary facade, capturing everything. Architecture became my life and eventually I went to Frank Lloyd Wright's Taliesin to study architecture and become an architect.
I do a lot of architectural renderings, paintings, and drawings for my clients and on weekends and vacations I spend time drawing and painting, and recently, sculpting.
Art and architecture from ancient civilizations are very inspiring to me and of course I reflect the modern sexuality of our current culture into my personal work.
